- Never stuck at a dead end: if your sign-in quietly expired, Blurt used to show an upgrade wall with a button that did nothing. It now recognizes an expired session, prompts you to sign in again with your email pre-filled, and brings your real plan back.
- One Blurt at a time: launching Blurt when it's already running brings the existing window forward instead of starting a second copy.

2026-07-17- Fixed the Upgrade button doing nothing when your session had quietly expired. If Blurt can't confirm who you are, it now takes you straight to sign-in, so Premium comes right back.

- Teach Blurt your words: add known terms so names, brands, and jargon are spelled right, set find and replace rules for every transcript, and turn on a built-in medical vocabulary of about 700 clinical terms, all on-device.
- Privacy, your way: Private mode keeps sensitive notes on this PC with AI cleanup off and nothing written to disk. Transcript history is off by default, and encrypted when on.
- Per-app overrides: give specific apps their own cleanup style, or force type-out where paste isn't accepted.
- Pick your microphone, choose how text is inserted, and fine-tune the push-to-talk hold and double-tap timing.
- Fixed: the dictation overlay is now sharp on standard-resolution displays, and start/stop sounds play reliably.
