What the guided setup does

The guided setup tunes Blurt before you install it, so the app opens already set up the way you work. Finish it and you get 2 weeks of Premium free: unlimited words, AI cleanup and all modes, no card, and it cancels itself.

What you'll blurt
Pick everything that sounds like you: email, notes and docs, code, journal, or medical notes. Blurt is tuned to match.

Your hotkey
Choose the key you hold to talk. On Mac: fn (recommended), Right Command, or Right Option. On Windows: Left Ctrl (recommended), Caps Lock, or Right Ctrl. Or decide later in the app.

Raw or cleaned up
Raw keeps everything on your device: what you say is exactly what gets typed. Cleanup sends the text (never the audio) on one encrypted trip to the AI to fix filler words, punctuation, and rambles. It is never stored by Blurt or used to train AI models, and you can switch to Private mode any time.

Save your setup
Enter your name and email, then the one-time code we email you. Your answers are saved to your account, so the app applies them when you sign in with the same email.
When you finish, your download starts. Install steps for Mac, Windows, and Chrome are on the Setup page, and what we store from this setup is on the Privacy page. After the trial you keep the free plan, or upgrade to keep Premium.
